for everyone
I haven't experienced that kind of Sunday yesterday for the past five months of my life. No evaluation exams for a Monday. I like it!

Yesterday was a fine day. We had our orientation for the brain surgery for today. I got my scrub suit. It's too big for me but they say scrub suits are really loose. Hehehe... ^o^

The patient is a seven-year old female (turning eight years old) with an abnormal mass on the bridge of her nose. The neurosurgeons told us in our group discussion that it was a brain meninx that may have developed during the early pregnancy of the mother. They call it meningoencephalocoele. As far as I have read, it is caused by some abnormality that have occurred during the fourth to eight week development because during those weeks, the face and the skull bone begins to develop and to fuse. I am not sure about this as the reason for the case of the child. A wild guess from a first year medical student... Hehehe... ^o^

It will be my first time to actually witness an actual surgery today - and it's a brain surgery! Amazing! I'm also excited to see how an operating room looks like! Hehehe... ^o^

I got to go now or I'll be late! I don't want that to happen!!! Hahaha...

Bye2! ^o~
